How to Keep Product Details Consistent in AI Videos
Practical controls for logo, color, and shape fidelity when animating ecommerce stills — plus when to pay for Reference.
AI video can drift: logos smear, colors shift, extra buttons appear. You cannot eliminate risk entirely, but you can bias toward consistency.
Input discipline
- Use the highest-resolution still you have; upscaling a tiny thumbnail first rarely helps.
- Prefer a single clear hero angle; busy collages confuse identity.
- Avoid tiny legal text you need to stay perfect — models struggle with micro-type.
Settings that help
On Reference to Video (120/240 credits) write camera intent without asking the model to redesign the SKU:
- “Keep product identity and logo unchanged, slow orbit, soft studio light.”
On Image to Video the same line still helps; Reference simply reserves more credits for control-oriented work.
Resolution choice
Iterate at 480p. When identity looks stable, render 720p once for the ad set — fewer expensive retries.
Review checklist before spend
- Logo glyphs readable?
- Color within brand tolerance?
- No invented accessories?
- Motion matches the platform (9:16 vs 16:9)?
If a render fails, credits release automatically.
Limits
We do not guarantee pixel-perfect trademarks. Brand/legal review remains yours. Multi-reference video inputs appear only when the active model supports them.
